Short Bio:

KEVIN CRAIG is the author of young adult fiction. Their (preferred pronouns are they/them/their and sometimes he) young adult titles are; SUMMER ON FIRE, BURN BABY BURN BABY, HALF DEAD & FULLY BROKEN, PRIDE MUST BE A PLACE, THE CAMINO CLUB and BOOK OF DREAMS. THE CAMINO CLUB, was the 2021 Silver Winner in the Independent Book Publishers Association’s Benjamin Franklin Awards. BOOK OF DREAMS is their most recent release from DUET BOOKS, the LGBTQ+ YA imprint of CHICAGO REVIEW PRESS!

They also write contemporary adult fiction with young narrators ( SEBASTIAN’S POET and THE REASONS).

Standard Bio:

KEVIN CRAIG is the author of contemporary young adult fiction (Summer on Fire, Burn Baby Burn Baby, Half Dead & Fully Broken, Pride Must Be A Place, The Camino Club, and Book of Dreams) and contemporary adult fiction with young narrators ( Sebastian’s Poet and The Reasons).

Kevin is a 5-time winner of the Muskoka Novel Marathon’s BEST NOVEL AWARD. Kevin is also a playwright, and has had twelve plays staged. Their short stories appear in several anthologies and journals. Kevin has also had poetry published in multiple media. Kevin’s memoir writing has appeared in the Globe & Mail and they have also recorded memoir for CBC Radio Canada. Kevin is a longtime member of the WCDR (Writers Community of Durham Region), and a founding member on the board of directors for the now defunct Ontario Writers Conference. They live in Toronto, Ontario.

Kevin has appeared on various industry panels and has also facilitated workshops and Blue Pencil Editing Sessions at writing conferences. Kevin’s other passions include their significant other, their children, their grandchildren, travel, Paris, and the Camino de Santiago. Don’t even get them started on their love of 80s punk and new wave music.
